Making the Invisible Visible
Dr. Chandra Spring-Robinson, DO, FACOG and Savannah Regensburger, MS, MBA, CNS will join Endo Warriors, artists, advocates, clinicians, and members of the endometriosis community from around the world at FLARE: Illuminating Endometriosis in New York City.
FLARE is not a traditional medical conference.
The three-day event uses art, lived experience, performance, conversation, advocacy, and education to illuminate the realities of endometriosis and create new ways for those experiences to be seen, heard, and understood.
The inaugural FLARE exhibition brings together 33 artists from 13 countries, with works spanning painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, collage, and other forms of creative expression. The broader program brings those artistic perspectives into conversation with Endo Warriors, advocates, and healthcare professionals.
For Dr. Spring-Robinson, that intersection has particular meaning.
After caring for women who have often spent years searching for answers, she has learned how important it is to truly listen to the experiences of those living with endometriosis. Many arrive after years of feeling dismissed, misdiagnosed, or unheard.
Art can be another powerful medium for communicating those experiences, elevating awareness, and helping others better understand a disease that can be extraordinarily difficult to see or explain.

On Saturday afternoon, Dr. Spring-Robinson and Savannah will open FLARE Conversations with their joint keynote:

The conversation will bring together two complementary perspectives.
Dr. Spring-Robinson brings the perspective of an endometriosis excision surgeon who believes surgery should be approached as one component of a thoughtful, long-term treatment strategy.
Savannah brings both her professional work in clinical nutrition and endometriosis research and her lived experience as an Endo Warrior who spent nearly three decades searching for answers before eventually becoming Dr. Spring-Robinson’s patient.
Today, the two work alongside one another as colleagues.
Together, they’ll explore what comprehensive endometriosis care can look like when clinical expertise and lived experience inform one another.
